PETEW Posted October 4, 2001 Share Posted October 4, 2001 I have a '77 280 Z and when I replaced the front mount (what a pain )I noticed that there is a harmonic balancer. Is it necessary to have it on. I noticed in the JAG manual, when they tell you about the 3/16 cable strap to help keep the mount from ripping, the balancer is gone.
