Guest super280z Posted November 9, 2001 Share Posted November 9, 2001 just wondering what you guys think about this trans. i see alot of LS1 guys sticking this tranny in there cars but never further down the road. one guy in Houston has one in an LS1 powered sonoma w/ a 9" and juice. i get mixed feelings what do yall think? Guest Anonymous Posted November 9, 2001 Share Posted November 9, 2001 Built they can handle power well, take less horsepower to run and are used successfully behind some pretty torquey motors. I think they ran them in the Buick GN's like Scottie has in his car. Oh yeah, two other obvious things, its smaller and lighter. Scottie-GNZ Posted November 10, 2001 Share Posted November 10, 2001 Lone is correct. The 200R4 is the trans that came with the Buick GN. Stock, they can handle quite a bit of power.
