510six
The lower injector bungs have been welded on to the N42 non EGR intake a fuel rail will be made from stainless steel 1/2" tubing and MSD upper injector bungs. 240cc injectors will be used on the "main" fuel system using 87 oct gasoline the "secondary" fuel system will use E85 from a three gallon fuel cell with 1600cc injectors. Challenger
Man I wish I could have seen the inside of that manifold after the porting.... Manifold looks great, and I thought 440cc's were big..
ktm
Looking good! When will the E85 injectors start spraying? Will it be a progressive delivery with the 240s up to a threshold (5 psi or so)?

Will it be a progressive delivery with the 240s up to a threshold (5 psi or so)? Exactly, the gasoline system will be used up until 5-6 psi then it`s 100% E85. The E85 fuel system could have used 1000cc injectors , but I already had several 1600cc units and concern about duty cycle under boost with the larger injectors is not an issue. 510six
I just got the manifold back from the welder/ machinist the "gasoline" fuel rail is mounted . It was mounted in such a way as to clear the "E85" stainless fuel rail, which has to be mounted to clear the port nitrous system. The fuel/ nitrous system plumbing is going to be a bit involved to say the least.
24OZ
Any more progress on this? Keep up the good work.
510six
Any more progress on this? Keep up the good work. The stainless fuel rail and mounts have been fabricated, the fuel system , pumps, fittings, feed and return lines have been plumbed. Now it`s getting the manifold ceramic coated tomorrow and making the return lines off of the ethanol fuel rail. Then the nitrous oxide plumbing will be fitted to whatever space is left. I will post pics of the stainless fuel rail and mounts tommorow as well as progress made with the fuel lines. I also have a new wiring harness to make for a external injector driver for the alcohol injectors to wire into the AEM EMS. The end result will be in 14 injectors being used and hopefully some good dyno #`s and 1/4 mile times.
