Guest 240z71 Posted September 14, 2008 Share Posted September 14, 2008 A while back ago i came upon a 71 240z, it was an arizona car and has never seen a winter there is not a touch of rust on the thing but there is minor body damage, the car sat in my garage for about 5 years doing nothing finally i decided to try n fix it, it started with an issue in the head then the more i looked into it i learned the problems continued into the block, rebuilding it is an option but ive been really considering putting a v8 in it id love to race with it and am looking for more horsepower and more torque but i want to keep it legal and manageable on the street, currently im restoring the body inside and out, not much was stock when i bought this car and im sure much less will be stock or original when im finished with it, im looking for any advise that any one may have for me or any sugestions of a motor if i do decide to go with a v8 thats going to bring more questions thanks for the help/sugestions!!
