Savage42 Posted September 23, 2008 Share Posted September 23, 2008 Yep, I've seen one before. We had two Zs attend the big Datsun Meet at Shasta about a decade ago. I remember the one having the BGN motor and the other had a supercharged SBC. The Grand National Z was almost a second fast (I believe an 8.5 sec 1/4 mile) than the V8 and it also got high 20s mpg on the road trip from up north. (I think Seattle or Canada?) I was a 510 guy at the time, so didn't really pay too much attention, but thought it was cool to be that fast and get good mileage. Might be someone who is on here. Wow, those were the days!
