icapture
I just removed the L28 from my 75 280z in order to throw in my SR20det. My buddy and I were looking at how high the cars front end is with no motor and thought that because the SR is so much lighter than the original L28 that the Z would have an odd wheel gap with springs and struts. can one achieve a proper ride height running the SR with just springs and struts, or do i need to look into adjustable coilovers? thanks, adam
EMWHYR0HEN
Once you have everything installed the SR is probably going to weight just as much as the L28 but, since most of that weight will be towards the rear of the x-member I can see the front end raising no more than 1/2''. I think you should be fine with lowering springs but if you have the xtra dough I would go with some adj. coil overs.
