PR280z
Can i use the 86 300zx diff/susp. for the 77 280z?
Administrators BRAAP Posted October 27, 2008 Administrators Share Posted October 27, 2008 Diff, yes. Suspension? Anything is possible, the amount of work to convert the 77 Chapman strut design over to the Z-31 semi trailing arm would take quite a bit of fabrication. Any particular reason why you would want to use the Semi trailing arm suspension over the Chapman design that is in the car currently? The early '70-'78 rear suspension has proven to work VERY well for both handling and straight line performance, from stock applications to extremely wild! Hello Braap,The guy told me to just pay for the tow to get it out of the yard and it`s mine. I just really wanted to know what parts i can actually use for my Zees (75-77-79zx).I also have a 83 turbo motor+trans laying around the house for a future swap.So the diff would be the only part i can use the rest would sell on e-bay i guess. thanks , braap.
