bens1088 Posted December 18, 2008 Share Posted December 18, 2008 The interior pics didn't come out right (cellphone) I'll get some up tomorrow if its sunny. 1979 280zx Stock l28e 122k K&N intake 2 1/2" mandrel bent exhaust straight pipes to a flowmaster 40 (super loud... rumbles my house) (New headers sittin in the garage) 17x7 wheels with nexen 3000 tires 2" spacers MSA type II body kit dark pearl grey paint removed all badges 15% tint all the way around nismo seats alpine stereo with 600 watt amp some aftermarket steering wheel suspension technique sway bars (don't remember the size but their thick) every bushing replaced with urethane New front calipers and lines Koni shocks (stock springs??) I cant decide if I should do a 2" drop? I don't want it to ride too much stiffer. My dad bought this car new in 79. Sat in the drive way for close to 9 years. Fixed her up through high school. The last step is the engine. I want to pull the engine and rebuild her. Keep it NA and shoot for ~200HP at the crank. (trying to be realistic) I wish I would have documented and taken pictures of everything along the way. But it feels good to be somewhat... complete.
