Guest Anonymous
July issue of Hemmings' Rods and Performance has an article on eliminating driveshaft vibrations. They discovered a new tool being made by Vetronix (http://www.vetronix.com) that worked when traditional methods had failed. From additional research I found that it appears Ford dealers are going to be using the Vetronix MTS 4100 in their shops to find the sources of NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness). For what it's worth...
DAW
A vibration tool?
Guest Anonymous
Yes, an electronic shop tool (slightly larger than the average scan tool) which allows you to find and fix vibrations from any area of a vehicle. In the instance of a driveshaft, it allows you to balance it while mounted on the vehicle - much more effective.
