Ah well as the title says i live in iran just got my z a couple weeks ago. i'm originally from arizona i have a fairly decent amount of experience under my belt for working on chevy motors and i've done a few swaps from chevy to chevy but never from a chevy for a datsun z car.. and plus over in america you have all the parts and anything you could every dream of..

over here its basically ya work with what ya got.. and what i got is '71 240z perfect body/chassis everything is so straight on this car i couldn't not buy it :)

but there's some good and some bad news.. she's just a roller :)

good cause i dont gotta bother with the original motor.. bad cause i just wanna drive her :)

but anyways what i wanna do is put this 383 SBC i found in an old beat up nova,,, but i dont have acess to the mount need to swap the engine do you guys think there's anyway i could make some mounts that would work just as good or something.. any advice would be greatly apreciated

Welcome, as for mounts there are vendors in the US as you say and Im sure theyd be willing to sell/ship to Iran. If not Im sure most members would be willing to order the parts for you (test them out for a few weeks :) ) then ship them to Iran for you.

i guess i could do that its just the fact that im under age and i doont have a credit card that makes that a problem :P

Try walking into a bank that does Visa and asking about Visa's pre-pay credit cards. you buy a card that acts like a debit card in that you have to have it paid up with cash, but can be used over the phone or internet like a credit card.

Here in NZ they're called Prezzy cards. short for Present cards. with the rise of the internet and online shoipping VISA is tapping the online buying by offering a credit card you can buy with cash over the counter and use without having to be older then the local legal contract limit to sign up a credit account.
