440man
I was reading a post by "Here Comes Trouble" in "The Strut Thread" in which he suggested using VW Jetta GR2 strut cartridges in the front of a 280Z with 2" sectioned tubes and using the front 280Z cartridges in the rear. Does anyone know which (year) VW Jetta GR2's to ask for? These would be KYB's. This 75 Z will be strictly street & show and I'm trying to get a good stance (lowered) and a good ride. I'm basically using the exact same components in the "Brians Garage" write up. http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Garage/6212/coilover/coilover.htm I'm using 10" QA1 springs - 150lb rear & 125lb front and intend to cut out a 2" section from the tubes. I can't remember if I have 5 or 7" sleeves. Thanks for any help, suggestions, warnings, watchout fors etc. Bryan
