angio_katsuki
So pretty much, I've bought a turbo motor getting ready for a swap, and I'm completely unaware what year it is. I've been told that 81 or 82-83 ECU+harness won't matter, but I worry of the excess parts that won't match (sensors, AFM and such). Any insight as to what I should look out for? Any help would be appreciated; I'm a newbie who's most prominent automotive achievements include coilover install, exhaust, and intakes. skib
I've been told that 81 or 82-83 ECU+harness won't matter the 81 has the CAS mounted on the A/C mounting bracket externally and the 82-83 has the CAS internally, so there is a difference in some "excess parts", not %100 sure on the AMF ect. tho. there should be plenty of info in the archives since this is a very common swap.
