Guest zfan
I just scored a 3.70 LSD off a 300 ZX Turbo. I have a 1971 240Z with a 3.54 200r rear end. The half shafts are off a 78 280Z. I want to possibly go with CV's, how hard is the swap to CV's? One of the CV's is damaged, drivers side so I will pick up replacement if need be. If I stay with the old spicer half shafts what do I need to do? Reason I ask is the LSD has shafts removed leaving holes on either side of the diff, do I remove inner shafts from the old 200 and insert in new diff and just bolt on my half shafts to the LSD rear? Hope this makes some sense! Mike
Guest Anonymous
Mike , I may be wrong but usually the 240 Z stub axle splines are the same as the CV splines making an easy bolt in. If I remember MadManAdam did this swap a few months back. Ross C has an adapter to mate the CV axles to 280 stub axles
