MichaelZcar
I just tried to fit the motorsport auto weather strip I bought. I usually like the products from motorsport, and I am also just happy that someone is making parts for our old z's. But the w/s did not even remotely fit, and was incomplete. (they are now apparantly a two part seal, not the one continous as was original). I am trying to straighten it out and get parts that will work, hopefully sooner rather than later as it is holding up the interior install. When I called I was assured they were the listed parts for my 74 260 2+2, but it would require major mods and some other pieces to make them work. Oddmanout84
nice. i need to pick one up asap...this rain is frightening lol. I hear ya! In Jan '05 when I was at Pendleton the rain in January made part of a nearby hill slide down and flooded the first floor with a few inches of water... all within a few hours of one night! The Z's floorpans became lakes. During the few rainstorms I drove in while I was there I was constantly ducking water drops leaking in from where my weatherstrip would have been, and from those crap T-Top things. I really need to get this kit before I hit the road again...
lumberjackj
I have ordered 25 feet of part number 1120A33 from McMaster-Carr. This was the part number that was suggested a couple of months ago. The description of the item is as follows: Push-On Edge-Trim Rubber Seal Bulb Opposite Grabber, 3/16" Edge, 5/8" Bulb Width It was about $33 shipped. Install was a little time consuming as the edge grip is tight and a little small, but i am satisfied 100%
