Guest Bryan1978 Posted March 19, 2009 Share Posted March 19, 2009 Hey guys, I'm new here so bare with me. I'm actually looking into a turbo 4.8 with a 4L80E for an old school chevy blazer drag truck. I'm not going for cubes here, just RPM and alot of boost. I currently have the 4.1 V6 Turbo running the old classic bank to bank fast with a built 200R4 behind it. The motor I picked up is an iron block aluminum headed LS style engine. Its suppose to have 96MM bores, so thats 3.7795 inches. I was planning on leaving it untouched other than a hone to smooth it out for the new rings, but what heads are good for this combo?? And who does a CNC job on them?? Other than that, whats the stock crank made from cast or forged?? The motor and tranny are in my garage now, I havent even tore it down yet. Thanks for all your help.......
