zxramman Posted March 30, 2009 Share Posted March 30, 2009 The turbo on my 83 280 ZX has a lot of play in the shaft and it is time to replace it. I have a cutom 3 inch exhaust from down pipe past muffler, running 9 psi boost, K&N filter, stock turbo. I would appreciate suggestions on where to get a replacement and what type perhaps a hybrid T3/t4.. I do not plan to race it, it's just a fun car, but as long as I have to replace the turbo I would like to investigate getting a little more power over the stock turbo.
