Guest Anonymous
I have a 82 280ZX project car that I need parts for and have found an 80 280ZX parts car. Are there enough parts that interchange between the years to consider this car. My primary needs are: hood, complete wiring harness, dash & instrument panel. Thanks in advance for any replies! Guest Anonymous
I had a 79 and an 82 parts car. I don't recall much difference between the two, other than the 82 had power rack&pinion which wasn't available on the 79, so I moved the entire front cross member, rack, suspension and ps pump. no problem. Hope this helps, larry
Guest Locutus
I had a 79 ZX 2+2 and it had power steering. It was part of the concern in doing a V8 swap cause it takes up more room than the manual rack and pinion. Mike
GrayZee
Obviously if one of the vehicles is and 2+2 and one isn't, there are parts that won't swap. IE, hatch t-tops ect. But on the whole with a 80's ZX you will find that more parts that will interchange than parts that wont.
