AndrewHuffman Posted May 13, 2009 Share Posted May 13, 2009 So, it has been said to do this to the z32 input shafts.... My input shafts from my z32 look like these... I disassembled the half shafts, the spider gear slid over the spline... Does that need to be welded? Also, if the shorter input shaft has to be splined deeper, and have a new ring groove, why cant i just use the T-T shaft? They look the same and already have the correct ring grove. I have not compared the longer side yet... I also have a theory that if the shorter shaft has it's splines increased, it will not need to be shortened to slide all the way in...
