So I've been looking at all of the various wheel sizes posted in the "Wheel Show!" thread, at different member setups, and I was wondering if somebody with a bit more experience could help me out:

I'm looking at getting some 5zigen 17" x 9" +35 offset wheels (the same that Clifton has on his grey Z). I want to run 245/40/17 tires, or maybe even 255s at all four wheels.

The probelm is, I have not found anybody that could tell me what it would take to fit them in the stock wells using the COMPLETE Arizona Z Car setup... I have the coilovers, the control and radius arms, and 5-lug disc brake conversion at all 4 corners. Front brakes are the 13" cross-drilled, but all four wheels will have the 4-pot Willwood calipers. The chasis is a 1977 280Z regular 2 seater. Aparently, Dave over at Arizona Z Car says the 5-lug conversion adds a .5" spacer distance to the front wheels, and .75" to the back.

So... does this 17x9 +35 wheel on 245 tires setup, sound like a viable option in a car with STOCK wheel wells, and .5"/.75" spacers front/back? THANKS FOR THE HELP!

Awesome! Thanks for the advice! It's really hard to get an idea of what might fit without any experience, and without being able to actually measure the clearances on the actual car... (it's getting Soda Blasted right now).

The only reason I posted a super direct question like that instead of trying to figure it out, is that I am now on a time schedule to get this thing done, and I need to order all my parts real quick. I can't get the suspension on the body right now, and I need to order wheels/tires that'll fit when they get here.
