Noddle
Hi, I need to recreate my VE table with different "VE Table RPM Range" and "VE Table Load Range", and I'm wondering is there a tool to accept my existing table and extrapolate to the new range I want ie, RPM from this 500 800 1100 1400 2000 2600 3100 3700 4300 4900 5400 6000 to 800 1365 1930 2495 3060 3625 4190 4755 5320 5885 6450 7015 and MAP range from 35 45 55 65 75 85 95 110 125 145 165 185 to a new max of 200 any help will be appreciated Nigel
mobythevan
I went through the same thing a month ago on my Talon so I could have more entries in the cruising area for better mpg. I did both fuel and spark tables. I printed out both for reference and then changes the BINs and just had to re-enter values and interpolate in the columns that were new. I really didn't see an easy way of doing it.
Noddle
Hi, In the end I exported my VE table as a .csv file, imported it into a spread sheet, inserted blank columns between the old RPM, MAP ranges, create a formula for the differences between the 2 RPM / MAP ranges that I needed (larger - smaller )/ 2+ smaller (the division needs to be about what percent of the changes you want), a bit of mucking around, and I know it wont be perfect, but it's a good starting place. mobythevan
That sounds like a good method for changing the table.
