Hi all, I have been reading this site quite a lot because I find the info fascinating.

My '83 Skyline was a Jap import 2litre Turbo.

I pulled the engine and fitted a 280Z block and Head with a 1.5mm spacer to drop the compression. I cranked up the boost to about 18psi and had to fit water injection to prevent detonation.

An absolute monster. Sadly no longer with us.......

I still had some injectors though and fitted them to a Mercedes 190E in a Megasquirt conversion. I see some of you guys have done this on 'Z's and wonder if you can help me to get mine going.

The Z injectors are low impedence and I can't find out what the flow rate is on them so I can't get the REQ_FUEL right.

I have had the engine running on 'enrichment' only (it dies if you do not keep revving it up) and I know the computer is good because I built it and my background is electronics.

It is a four cyl. engine but that is a small matter. The Nissan injectors dont know that.

You guys seem to be well up on your stuff but if I can help on anything I learn't from my baby I am too happy to jump in.

I have had other cars since but still miss her badly. Damn, that car was great!

Any help on the flow rates?

Cheers, :)

I have just found the way to get all the MS posts on one place. I have been going through to see if there is an answer there. Maybe one of the administarators can transfer it for me to an appropriate site?

Sorry, just feeling my way around at this stage, The more I read, the more I think I should get another Nissan.

Cheers:)
