Boy from Oz
I don't know that anyone has posted this before so I took a few photos of the reshaping required of the transmission tunnel to clear the reverse light switch on the tremac t56 six-speed, mated to an LSx. Just a few knocks with a hammer is all that is required. The grind marks are where I removed two clips, so that may help others to further identify the position. Would others who have done the swap confirm this.
Guest Gr8White
So you haven't actually tried to get the engine/tranny in to confirm the location? I'm assuming you located this per the JCI instructions? I'm in the same boat, I've got the tranny ears cut/ground off but my tranny tunnel hasn't met up with Mr. sledgy yet. Good pictures if the location is correct. I did some rough measurements per the JCI book and it looks about right to me, I'm sure someone else can confirm.
