AndrewHuffman Posted May 29, 2009 Share Posted May 29, 2009 So im trying the z32 vlasd swap into my z31. I've swapped pumpkins. I've modified the shafts enough where they will go in. The Problem I'm having is, when i put the shorter shaft in, it wont go in all the way, maybe sticking out about 2mm than normal. I am ok with it sitting like this because the stop ring is caught. but like another 2mm before i get to this depth, the VLSD gets locked and i cant turn them at different speeds... I didn notice the further it went in, the harder it got (maybe i was getting tired) But is it supposed to be so tight that i turn the input shafts by hand?
