zedsn Posted June 2, 2009 Share Posted June 2, 2009 Hi, I am going to repalce one out of two ujoints on my 260z drivesahft and want to know if I should get it balanced afterwards or can I just put the u joint on and put itrhe driveshaft back into the car? LowCarbZ Posted June 2, 2009 Share Posted June 2, 2009 Whenever i've done it on any of my vehicles (pending there are no issues beforehand) is to mark the yoke of the driveshaft and the yoke of the transmission/diff with whiteout or a paint marker. Replace the joints I needed to and then ensure it's lined up again once replacing it. Never had an issue doing it this way. Someone else might have more insight than myself though...
