Head lights?

hey mike disconnect your headlights and put a volt meter on the wires to see if you have anything. disconnect switch and check for power there. if power at switch but not after then ohm out your switch. if the switch is good the go for the man hunt for the ground wires. hope this helps.

ok i reread your post again. yes, it sounds like you have missed a ground somewhere or else they have broken ground wire somewhere. try checking for a short in the headlight wires.

hey mike go to the headlamp connector ,of the 3 wires the centre is hot with the lampswitch on the other 2 wires is grounds comming from the dimmer switch, your dimmer switch gets its ground from a connector under thesteering column cover sometimes this connector gets disconnected or needs cleaning hope this helps if more info needed let me know

icon_confused.gif I am also having the same problem. Hooked all the wires that need to be hook,but (no head lights or blinkers). I do have running lights, brake lights.Also checked fuses and they are good. But i noticed the wires going to the light switch and blinker swith are getting hot.It is a 280z. Any suggestions.
