Guest mtj71Z
first oquestion: if i wanted to make the gauge cups aluminum, whats the best way to do that/best thing to use ? i was thinking find aluminum pipe, cut it at an angle and sand the front edge to a point? second: what do companies use to fix crack dashboards? i need to get my dash smooth, but the cracks will mess it up - im thinking some type of wood filler then i can sand it down? looks are not important just smoothness. wood filler work or are there better ideas? thanks! mike
Guest JAMIE T
Try expandable foam. You can use the cheap stuff from the hardware store. Spray it in the cracks and watch it expand into every crevice. After its dry you can shave it smooth with a sharp knife. Jamie Deathstar
Drax240z
Expandable foam would work well. Just make sure you get it smooth, and glossy before you lay any glasswork down on it. Oh yeah, make sure its sealed in there with some type of paint, otherwise the resin may attack it.
