Guest venom42
I usually turn my own wrenches, but have little experience with wiring. For this reason I took my Z to a local Z shop that came highly recommended. However, he deals mostly with the 70-74 cars, and is not as familiar with the injected Z. Here is the deal: Summit Racing digital ignition w/ matching coil Summit tach adapter From what I understand it is pretty much the same as the Mallory HyFire. He has it all installed, and gets good spark. However, he cannot seem to be able to get the fuel injection to fire. What are we missing here? The fuel injection system is completely stock. Guest Rolling Parts
The only connection between the EFI and the ignition is the (-) coil connection to the harness to tell the ECU the engine speed. Mess that up and it won't sense that teh engine is spinning. Teh shop "should" have a copy of this: http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/efisystem/280zfuelinjectionbook.pdf
