Guest Anonymous
im really considering going to painless wiring route, i pulled my engine harness completely out of the car and did the modifications following the jtr book but im not completely sure everything is right, and there seems to be alot that isnt need but i dont want to cut it out of the harness without being sure. Does Painless make a harness for the v8 z conversion with gm alternator connectors etc.? also is their dash harness any different from the factory harness? thanks
Guest Anonymous
The painless system is a universal type setup. You can get it with the GM alternator wire,my friend has it on his 77 280 2+2.
Guest bang847
painless = painful.... I think it is alot cheaper and alot better to get a JY fuse box and some wire and do it your self... I bought a book from kragen about making your own wiring harness for $1... but that was after the painless harness went in to my car... plus the painless kit limits where you can mount the fuse box...maybe buy their fuse block but the kit isnt that great... my opinion...
