Guest jimmywrights
my goal is to get a nice 9.1 or so compression ration. with power from 2000- 6000 rpm's. I have a bone stock 78 Z. N42 block and N47 head. I am planning on replacing the cam with it also. the whole shebang. I don't want my rig to be crazy fast. Gaining 20-30 horsepower will make me happy. My goal is to see nice response and peppiness. I WILL NOT swap a turbo into my vehicle. It is worth more with the stock motor than with an engine that doesn't match my serial #'s. Especially since CA is gonna start checking the serial numbers at the smog shop soon. What is your advice on getting this desired setup.
