Arbo Posted September 15, 2009 Share Posted September 15, 2009 i have an exhaust leak, but i don't know if its the gasket or the manifold. whats the best way to check? also i can't find stock manifolds online only performance ones, can anyone help me out? trwebb26 Posted September 20, 2009 Share Posted September 20, 2009 Turbo or N/A? How many miles on the engine? Did you mess with the bolts? If it is N/A - stock or header? Probably very unlikely that your manifold is cracked... Probably just a gasket. Either way the manifold has to come off... If it isn't your DD - get that thing off of there and find out for sure. ezzzzzzz Posted September 25, 2009 Share Posted September 25, 2009 You'll see the black exhaust smudge from the leak assuming it is in an area that you can get a look at.
