Guest Anonymous
The back of the car is shaking or the engine? With a little more detail, maybe some of us can help you out. Try to be specific as possible. To at least get you started, make sure the car is completely tuned up. Dont assume anything. You cant properly diagnose a vehicle if it is not tuned up. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter, fuel filter and oil. If you dont cover the basics you could chase your tail for ever. Lets start there and with some more details we can take it a little further. Hope this helps John
Guest Anonymous
it seems to be the bottom of the car cuz i can hear the rattling inside the car. i took a look under the car and it appears to be coming from there, like from the exhaust pipes but i'm not sure and i don't know wut to do. Guest Anonymous
Well. I can think of two things to check. One is to look for loose heat shields on the exhaust system. Check them all carefully. It does not take much for one to rattle. The other thing is, when the car is idling and rattling step on the clutch pedal. If the noise comes and goes or changes drastically when you step on and off the pedal, it may be time for a new throw out bearing for the clutch. If that is the case, replace the clutch and machine the flywheel while you are in there. Start with this and let us know what you find.
