StrokinIT
hey guys, I'm picking up a 3.9 R200 on friday. He said he had taken it apart to make sure it's kosher, and would let me look at it myself before i pay for it. Anything important to look for to make sure it really is decent so I'm not throwing money away? Thanks
Montezuma
A quick search got me this: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=139939&highlight=R200 More in the search just want to get it to you before you start getting beat up by the "why did you not search" police. Please search so we don't have to see someone else take a beating.
StrokinIT
i actually found that post when i searched. I think my question is more basic than most people normally think of. What sort of wear on the splines is 'normal' and what is a definate warning sign when you open one of these babys up?
T S30 H
I usually check the level of play in the rotation of axles. If there's too much slack before it engages, then it'll need to get looked at even further.
