z2go Posted October 18, 2009 Share Posted October 18, 2009 Pay the 10 or 15 bucks to run a VIN check. It's worth it to have the peace of mind on a 4 or 5 figure purchase. However, keep in mind that it won't show you any damage that was repaired by the owner outside of an insurance claim and some body shops that don't report it.
