ema
Hello there. I admit I am kind of new with driving and there's still tons of things that I don't understand about cars. One slightly paltry question that I would want to ask is why would you cover up your running board? This question started to boggle(really, boggle) me when I saw this Metro Molded Running Board Cover at that site.
kiwi303
But, it's not just a simple flat board you can bolt on the side of your ride and leave on its own. It also needs a protective assembly, a sealing and support system. A cover is vital to protect the board from wearing out.WTF? A running board id there to take the thump when you come down and get dented instead of the frame or sills, or at least mine always have been. I have running boards on the hilux, and they aren't pretty. I think these are aimed at city slickers and soccer moms.
