louie-661 Posted November 13, 2009 Share Posted November 13, 2009 I have a 1976 280z. asking $1000 when finished. the car had the efi set up with automatic trans. original engine had a blown head gasket. pulled engine and trans out. now being converted into 2.8 su carb set up with electronic distributor, headers, 2 1/2 inch straight pipe with aftermaket muffler and 5 sp trans that i had on my 240z. car is lowered, has 14 inch polished mags with good rubber. also car is getting a flat black primer paint job. car is located in palmdale let me know if interested Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

louie-661 Posted November 13, 2009 Share Posted November 13, 2009 yea sure. the car right now is in process of being worked on. but I'm thinking I'll should be done hoping by the end of next week. motor and trans is still out. need clutch pedals installed. car has minor rust.nothing major. the bad is, car seats are torn. need carpet kit, removing ugly bumpers. also may need shocks. other than that car is complete. I will try to post some pics tonite, if not, first thing tomorrow. you are more than welcome to come and see the car if you like. car has been sitting for a while. motor and trans in good condition. carbs may need tuning but still running strong. thanks .louie Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It just passed smog ( OCT ) It is a 5 speed manual transmission. Has about 150,000 miles. Asking $3,700.00 I am in Norwalk. South Gate is close by, so We can meet if you are interested. DRFTEM Posted March 17, 2010 Share Posted March 17, 2010 Hi I have a 1974 260z I can offer you. I am also located in SanDiego. This car has alot of mods done to it but doesnt have a perfect chasis. Has an l24 with what I have been told a small cam. has the 5 speed conversion. has a welded r180 to keep the power to the ground. it has techno toy tuning front traction rods and weld in camber plates. Has arizona z car quick steer knuckles. It has some sort of aftermarket front and rear sway bars. It has Apex'i N1 coilovers from a Miata retrofitted to work on the z. Has eagle rims sized 15x8 somewere around -30 offset. It has a full roll cage in it along with two sparco bucket seats and sparco harnesses. Battery located in hatch mounted in an Ammo container. Now the bad. the hood has some damage on the verry nose of it. It doesnot have the wiring to install the blinkers in the front. The right rear corner of the car is smashed in. The floor boards have rust. the passenger rear rocker panel has some rust. If interested let me know I can take some pictures or you can take a look at it when Im free.
