Guest MistressMotorsports Posted November 16, 2002 Share Posted November 16, 2002 Since I'm converting my car from ITS to vintage CP, I'm slowly changing the car. I want to replace the stock ignition switch with a three position toggle (off, ignition, start). I can't make sense of the 7 or so wires going into the stock ignition switch. Can someone tell me which wires do what? Assuming I want everything powered when the master power is on and everything off when master power is off, what wires need to be combined and which wires can maybe even be eliminated? I'm not planning to make a whole new harness, just ditch the key. I have a factory manual, but I'm apparently too stupid to interpret the schematic.
