Guest polarity
how many people have swapped seats out on their Z/ZXs'? I'm really interested in picking up some honda s2000 seats or something like them.. anyone tried this before or have any idea what types of problems I might run into? S30Z Bushido
honda s2000 seats are very nice, i think you could get them to work in a z, i don't think they are much bigger than the oem seats. i put miata seats in my s30 and love them, a pretty straight forward install, i just bolted the stock seat rails to the mazda seats. RPMS
I put power 300ZX seats in mine, but I had to give up some legroom. The seats are wide enought that they don't QUITE go back far enough. The pivot of the seatback interferes with the wheel well housing and the transmission tunnel. I'm seriously considering doing some "clearancing" with a big meaty hammer back there... Sumo
Hey Scott, What year 300Z seats did you get? I may have a line on some 90-96 seats but they have to be redone. What the heck he's giving me the seats anyway if i want em.
Guest ON3GO
I have a extra set of Z32 300zx seats that I "might" put in my 240Z. I love the seats, the ones in my 300ZX now are leather and are in perfect shape but the leather is too hard and ya slide around abit, but a nice harrness will fix that. still very comfy seat to swap.. if they fit. either that or Corbeau CR1's!
