Guest JAMIE T
We scaled my L6 powered '71 240Z. It weighed 2253lbs. This stock L24 w/SU's, full interior, no bumpers, airdam, and some tools. I figure the tools weigh about as much as the early bumpers would have weighed. My guess is that if I gut the interior, add a roll cage, I will need to ADD wieght to make the min. weight requirements for the Import racing series. Guest DRK
Hey cool! Your car is much lighter than mine. I weighed my 78 280Z just before Christmas for a baseline reading before I swap the motor and put it on a diet. The car is completely stock with full bumpers and so forth, and weighed 2710 lbs with a 1/4 tank of fuel. Here was the split: LF 698 691 RF LR 652 669 RR 51.3% on the front end 48.7% on the rear end What is the minimum weight for the import class in which you intend to race?
