Guest Anonymous
Has anybody tried PPG gold series? I have been using it on the vettes, and I love it. PPG came out with this paint as a cheeper line of base /clear to compeat with acrylic single stagepaints, but it turned out to be much better than they had hoped, it goes on as well as their high grade base/clear, at about 40% less price. Here in texas it seems finish masters has the best price on this paint, but I think any of you would agree that it works and looks just as nice as the top dollar stuff. Guest tom sixbey
I'm looking into paint options right now. In my area i can readily get dupont or ppg - which should i use? - if i get ppg, i may end up using the gold series paint - as you mentioned... ------------------ Tom 6B (73NIC) "why slam on the brakes when you can slam on the gas?"
