Guest Anonymous
Does anyone have a trick to adjusting the door glass in a 240? I'm having a helluva time getting the glass to roll up easily and seal properly. Maybe I just need all new felt in the channels... or I'm just "challenged"... Guest Anonymous
The window channel felt does often fold over in the channel causing the problem you describe. Other common causes are binding in the door regulator "action" due to 1. misunderstanding about how to align it to the shell, incorrect door regulator by former owner that did not know he used the wrong model regulator or due to a broken window spring pressure rubber roller no longer working in the door. I see doors with this spring broken all the time. Most owners do not even know that the door came stock with this mechanism. I have plenty of them for in stock if you need one. More precautions about adjusting your door and window can be found in my ZP Tech section at http://www.jps.net/zparts/zptech/izccposts.html#Door Seal Problems Eric ------------------ Z PARTS - Used & New Online Parts Inventory at http://www.jps.net/zparts/selectzp.html
