jasper
After some searching, I haven't found an answer. Has anyone already running Su's, reasonably tuned, replaced them with Z therapy carbs. If so....what has been your experience??? Better performance? Improved MPG ? More consistant Idle? Was the money worth the improvements???( if any) I'm very good with carbs, but lack the equipment (machine shop) to make these carbs 100%. Thanks........ `
skib
If you can afford it then go for it. Quality is top notch, and literally good as or better than brand new. I got to drive one of Steve's Zs around for a day, had an L28 with his SU's on it and it runs smoooooth.
cockerstar
I have a set on my Z, but I went with them rather than doing a full tear down and rebuild on my other set before they went on the car. Let me tell you, it's nice having everything not corroded and moving freely like it should. Shiny is always a plus too Value wise, I'm not too sure. I picked mine up from a member here, so I didn't pay as much as a new set. For the price it seems like you could convert to a stand-alone ems for a few hundred more and be better off, but for the price I paid I'm happy! I'll be pulling them off this summer when I add my turbo if you're still looking then.
