capiii
I have a 79 280zx SCCA race car n/a. The engine started to missfire and run rough at my last race. I will list what we did but we increased the fuel pressure and it ran fine during the race but started loading up and missing during the cool down lap and is still currently running badly. So we did the following: changed computer changed distributor changed rotor checked for vacuum leaks checked timing changed plugs changed AFM checked the tps checked most ohm readings at the sensors and ecu plug. changed fuel filter checked and cleaned grounds the car is running very rich at idle, really rich. I am picking up a temp sender (goes into thermostat area and feeds the computer) and replacing that today. Seems to miss at all rpms. Thoughts??? palladin
The temp sender in the thermostat feeds the gauge. You need the one on the side of the block.
KnightoftheRound
The temp sender in the thermostat feeds the gauge. You need the one on the side of the block. Don't you mean side of head? O_o The Cylinder Head Temp Sensor? That will give a world of misery if its malfunctioning.
