phleb
So I've been looking for a Z to swap an RB into, but I haven't had the best of luck finding a good car. I have however found a few early 80s Maximas. My knowledge of these cars is kinda limited, and I know this isn't a Maxima forum. But does anyone know how much different it would be swapping an RB into a Maxima instead of a Z? Or could anyone point me in the right direction I need to be going? I've been reading here a lot and have a decent idea of what an RB'd Z swap would be like, but I haven't read up on the Maximas enough to know much about them. Help? I've always thought this would be an awesome swap, good to see someone's doing it. Maybe I'll be next.
amorfin
I think the first thing to decide is how much you really like the Z chassis. I think a Maxima should be a lot cheaper than a Z on similar condition. The reason is obvious, the Z is a sports car, the Maxima is a family car. The Maxima would be quite a sleeper though. Daphur280
It would be similar to putting 1jz's and 2jz's into cressidas, I think it would be interesting to see
