Guest ttoude
The Question: Ok, been searching and reading since December about switching from a stock "One wire" oil pressure sensor to a "two wire" oil pressure sensor and I cant find anything specific. How does this sucker wire up? One guy wired in a 3 ohm resistor is that necessary for an 81 ECU & 81 motor? Specs: In my case its because of a 81/83 turbo swap into a 1977 na. It came with a "two wire" sensor. But from what I've read the "single wire" type sensor is a really bad option for motors that normally get above 5k rpm. On my car oil pressure sensor harness comes off the lighting/accessory harness that swings around the front from the drivers side along the rad Search Info: But after my reading it seem swapping in a two wire sensor is a must for accuracy sake. Of course after market is probably best but..... Thanks in advance, Mike Edited March 15, 2010 by ttoude
