Guest Anonymous
Well I got the belts hooked up to the compressor and I charged up my A/C in the 240z. Its the MSA kit but on a Chevy engine. It works! Put in the R134a and oil and hey no shht its blowing whats this? Cold air from the vents! A bit late in the summer to get it aired up but I'll get use of it out here. As mentioned before if you expect to be hanging on the wheel and have your feet dangling in the breeze behind you from the blast of air from the stock fan, forget it. I'm going to try the Honda fan unit suggested and then I think its going to be excellent. For now, it keeps the car cool and I'm stoked about it and wanted to report how the kit works, its a bit pricey, but for this car to be blowing cold air from the vents for the first time in probably a decade or more, well it, makes you all warm and fuzzy. DavyZ
Clean out those vents while your at it! Heh, the vents in my 260Z were no less than disgusting inside. Lysol is always good for something! Good job getting everything set up, Lone. I'll have to check it out one of these days. FYI--for those that don't know, Sacramento is only hot until mid-November, and then it resumes the hot weather in, what, March? Uuugg. Guest Anonymous
Yeah, with drizzly rain for the other few months... Why my relatives couldn't have walked just a bit further to somewhere cooler, lazy sods...... Regards, Lone
