Goodbye to my 260Z!

....... until sometime in the summer.

I just got home moments ago after leaving my car in some good hands for a motor swap. The guys I left it with will be putting in an RB25DET along with chassis reinforcements, brakes, suspension, R230 diff, roll cage, and any bodywork that needs to be done.

They lifted the car up and were pretty surprised to see that everything was pretty much solid and very minimal rust. We'll see what happens as they rip it apart and dig deeper but so far, it looked pretty good. Unfortunately, we have no room to work on our car and our strata does not allow us to work on cars. So, we've had to through a 3rd party. After a lot of research, I found the right people. These guys know what they are doing and are just finishing up a restoration on a 280Z they they stripped to nothing and built it up again with a VG motor in there. All the other places I went to have a good reputation but have never worked on a Z before. Just based on the questions these guys asked me, I knew that these guys know what they are talking about besides that fact that they are currently working on a Z. Anways, we'll see how she turns out. The count down starts!! Cheers
