4x4nismo
I recently replaced my non-functional fuel meter with one of the new-revisions. It works great; actually, it's a bit too accurate. The Low gauge works (haven't gone lower than 2 gallons remaining, but accurate). The normal gauge works, too, but it's reading instant; any bump, turn, or brake application fluctuates the meter tremendously. I did install the additional piggyback device, I'm assuming it is supposed to act as a delay. It doesn't matter if the device is piggybacked or not- pushing the bumper fluctuates the gauge. It didn't come with any instructions, so I installed the piggyback to the best of my knowledge- the 4 connectors are color-coded and impossible to hook up backwards. the only additional plug was a grounding wire (i'm assuming, anyway- a black wire with a gold ring terminal). For those of you who have installed a new fuel meter, am I missing something?
