If I lower my 240z about 2 inches (no coilover) with (special order)springs, Will I be able to fit- say 16x7 wheels under there. Anybody know by any chance? I'm using 16x7 and 16x8 with 225/45/16 and 245/45/16 respectively, with no clearance problems at all...oh yeah, with a 1" drop on tokikos. You might consider a "40" series tire on your profile. Guest Big Phil Posted January 31, 2002 Share Posted January 31, 2002 I had a 2 inch drop using aftermarket springs on my 78 280z for years with 235/45/17 rears and 205/50/17 fronts and nothing rubbed.
