Guest RON JONES
and cut the rain gutters off.then did some grinding and tach welded the two points of sheet metal about every two inches. Now its up to My body/paint Guy to make it look good.I decided since I was loosing the side lites, door locks, wiper holes and vents, why not the rain gutters as well. I'm hoping to get the call any day now for the Car to be brought over to the body shop. Then I'm in paint jail !
DavyZ
I bet it helps a bit with the aerodynamics of the car--and you above all people can appreciate that Davy
Guest Anonymous
Sounds sweet. My girlfriend and I just finished shaving a few items on her car (87 Firebird), including the door handles, lock cylinders (using poppers), gas filler (relocated inside the rear storage box), and the antenna. We're planning similar mods on my 240, with the addition of shaved drip rails, a cowl hood, and whatever else I can think up. Post some pics when you can.
