The main reason they put the rear fuel pump in was to prevent vapor lock and hot start issues from fuel vaporizing in the lines. Depends on how you are going to use the car I guess. It will run without it though just fine on the mechanical pump but may have issues listed above. Thank you, Did some very minor bondo work, I'm 21 and unemployed with a poor income I decided to hold back on the expensive shop bodywork a few months. I cut out the floor panels (?) from a donor junkyard car, as well as the corners underneath the doors. But for the mean while I went with bondo and spray paint, doesn't look decent at all but for the look I'm going for it really doesn't matter, and it beats driving with rust holes all over.
